Where to stay - Beadnell Campsite Photo: Gavin Duthie

Whether you are seeking five-star luxury or a bed in a bunkhouse barn, there is a wide range of accommodation to be found on the Northumberland coast.

Between May and September the coast is very popular, we would recommend booking your accommodation well in advance if you are visiting at this time.

Staying green

Some of our accommodation businesses have joined the Green Tourism Businesses Scheme (GTBS). GTBS is the only accredited scheme for green businesses. By staying at a GTBS business you are supporting the businesses who are doing their best to help us look after this wonderful place.

Greentraveller Guide

We have worked with Greentraveller to produce a Greentraveller guide for the Northumberland Coast.

Greentraveller guides help you to visit protected landscapes in a way that has a lower impact on the environment, and a positive effect on the livelihoods of the local people and on landscape and biodiversity

Search our Greentraveller guide for accommodation as well as food, attractions and things to do.

Finding accommodation

If you can’t find what you are looking for on the Green Tourism Business Scheme website or on our Greentraveller Guide then we recommend you search visitnorthumberland.com

VisitNorthumberland.com is the official tourism website for Northumberland.
